November 2, 2025, to host a heartwarming Community Baby Shower benefiting the Baby
Bundles project. The event took place at the American Legion on Mantoloking Road in Brick,
where Rotarians and community members came together to celebrate
the spirit of giving.

In the weeks leading up to the event, donation boxes were placed at Manasquan Bank and
Gail’s Optical in Sea Girt, encouraging residents to contribute new baby essentials such as
diapers, bottles, baby wipes, lotions, and clothing. The community’s generosity
overflowed—helping to provide comfort and care for new moms in need.
Funding for the project was made possible through a Rotary District Grant, secured by the Brick
Township Rotary Club. The club matched the grant funds, enabling the purchase of supplies for
10 complete Baby Bundle boxes. Additional donations from local residents helped fill the boxes
with even more thoughtful items.
During the shower, members from both Rotary clubs and the Baby Bundle Committee came
together to assemble the bundles—creating ten beautiful boxes of baby necessities. Thanks to
their collective effort, eight of these bundles have already been delivered to new mothers
within our Rotary District, making an immediate impact in the community.
The event was a wonderful example of Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” in action—showing
how collaboration and compassion can help nurture families and strengthen our community.
